Does massage help us lose weight? The answer is yes, with one clarification, the one who does the massage loses weight, not the one who is given it.

I have to admit that before writing this article I took a look at the sites that deal with this topic and I can say that I smiled bitterly. I will continue to lay down some formulas that are shamelessly used by “specialists in body remodeling”, deceiving the fairer sex by selling them illusions: “massage remodels the figure”, “the circumference of the hips will “melt”, “dissolving fat”.

Is the human body made of plasticine? How do fats dissolve, enter the blood? Or does it evaporate?

If you look at the profile sites, you will find that the results are conditioned by a proper diet and physical exercises. I’m wodering why? Have you ever wondered why massage, thermosudation wraps, electrostimulation, ultrasound and a proper diet are recommended as part of the package? Everything you will do in a “body remodeling” salon is meant to de-skin you, that is, to remove water from your cells.

As you know, the human body is composed of about 70% water, therefore by eliminating water you will be lighter and your circumferences will also decrease, but this does not mean that you have eliminated adipose tissue. If you want to lose weight, exercise because in this way the muscles transform fat reserves into mechanical energy. Therefore, the amount of kilocalories ingested must be lower than those consumed by the muscles.

Electrostimulation is used in medicine to maintain muscle tone in the case of peripheral nerve injuries, but until reinnervation occurs, from that moment the patient is put to work. I also read that 45 minutes of electrostimulation is equivalent to 6 hours of fitness, if that were the case bodybuilders would stop sweating in the gyms and rush to the “body remodeling centers”.

Massage, praise God, has proven effectiveness in a lot of ailments and its indications are varied as I wrote in the specific sections on the website, but in the case of weight loss, the effectiveness is somewhere after the comma.
The massage, through the vasodilatation produced, has the role of preparing your muscles for physical exercises and very importantly, through the trophic effect, it will give firmness to the skin. In other words, it will help you lose weight nicely, but the massage does not make you lose weight.

Do not take everything you are told for granted, research, be suspicious because the sellers of products or services are lying to you for your money.
